Delivery Policy 

Flowers by Fruit wants to ensure that you receive your arrangements as fresh as possible; therefore all arrangements are delivered using refrigerated vehicles. For same day delivery within a 40km radius of the Sydney CBD area, please order your arrangement before 10.00am each day to take advantage of the standard delivery fee. Details are below

Unfortuantely, Flowers by Fruit does not deliver on Sunday. Sunday's are reserved as a family day but are more than happy to be working for you between Monday's to Saturday's.

Monday to Friday - Guaranteed Same Day Delivery (Excluding such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and Mother's Day where orders may need to be placed the day before)

Within the 20km radius of the Sydney GPO, we offer a flat rate delivery service to most business addresses by 5.30pm and most residential addresses by 6.30pm.
We are more than happy to meet specific time or urgent delivery requirements of our customers, however, they will be sent on a VIP service and additional costs may be incurred. Your order should be placed before 10.00am on the same day as your desired day of delivery.

Can I request a specific delivery time?
Yes you can request a specific delivery time when ordering.
However, please note that we may not always be able to guarantee delivery at the time requested under the standard delivery fee. You are able to upgrade to our VIP service that allows your to specify a delivery time and guarantees your gift will arrive as close to your requested time as possible. Please note that VIP spaces are limited. Please see our delivery policy for more details.

VIP DELIVERY - Same day delivery and time specific deliveries
VIP delivery charges apply and start at $40 for the following types of orders:
b) For orders placed before 10am on the day of delivery but require a specific delivery time or time frame of less than 4 hours. The delivery time starts at 10am.
c) Any orders that require delivery before Midday. VIP deliveries for prior midday delivery must be placed by no later than 5pm the day prior.

PLEASE NOTE: THAT VIP SPACES ARE LIMITED EACH DAY AND THEREFORE MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE IF REQUESTED TOO LATE.

VIP Deliveries are not available during Valentine's Day (12th-15th Feb), Mother's Day and the 2 weeks leading up to Christmas

Please note that it is the responsibility of the purchaser to provide the correct delivery address and any redirection may result in an additional delivery charge.

Saturday Deliveries
Saturday deliveries must be ordered no later than 5PM each Friday. We will endeavour to deliver, as close to your requested time but we cannot guarantee any specific timed deliveries on this day. All deliveries will be securely delivered before 6:00pm.

Sunday Deliveries
Sunday is usually our family day and therefore we are closed on this day.

Online orders placed on Saturday and Sunday
Flowers by Fruit will process all internet orders placed over the weekend for delivery on the following working day. You will receive confirmation by e-mail once your order has been processed. When ordering via the internet, please clearly indicate any specific delivery requests in the ‘Special Instructions’ field on the order page.

Public Holiday Deliveries
Flowers by Fruit does not work on Public Holidays. Your order will be delivered on the next available working day.

Incorrect address
Unfortunately Flowers by Fruit is not responsible if an incorrect address is supplied. Please be sure that you enter all the correct details at time of ordering and please enter as much information as possible.
There is space for you to provide any special delivery instructions when you place your order and we encourage you to use it.
If we are sent to an incorrect address, an additional delivery charge will apply to redirect the delivery.

Recipient Not Home
Unfortunately Flowers by Fruit is not responsible if a recipient is not home to accept their gift. Unless otherwise instructed Flowers by Fruit will ask a neighbour to accept their gift and place it in the fridge until the recipient is ready to collect it. A calling card will be left at the recipients to advise them where their Flowers by Fruit gift has been delivered. If a neighbour is unable to accept the gift, your order will be returned to Flowers by Fruit for either collection or re delivery. If a re delivery is requested additional delivery fees will apply.

Recipient Discharged from Hospital
Unfortunately Flowers by Fruit is not responsible if a recipient has been discharged from hospital. Flowers by Fruit will ask the hospital to contact the patient so they can collect from the hospital and the gift will be left with hospital staff. If the hospital is unable to accept the gift, then the goods will be returned to our store, you will be then contacted to arrange either collection or redelivery of the gift the following day. Additional delivery charges apply. Goods will not be delivered if they are more than 1 day old.

Deliver to Corporate/Business addresses
Flowers by Fruit will endeavour to deliver your Flowers by Fruit gift to the recipient, but this is not always possible and it often is received by a work colleague. Flowers by Fruit will deliver the goods as requested to the correct address and is not responsible if the person is not available to receive their gift.  Please be sure that the recipient will be at work on the requested day of delivery. Any requests for a delivery redirection will incur additional delivery charges.

When redelivery or collection for a returned item is not available
It's very rare that our drivers don't reach the recipient, however there some circumstances when a goft is returned to our store where a redelivery or pick up is unavailable. This is when:
a) When the goods are more than 2 days old. If the goods have been returned to our store they needed to be collected or redelviered within 24 hours to maintain optimum enjoyment.

b) Any redeliveries need the permission of the sender to authorise the redelivery charge otherwise the goods need to be collected from our stores.

Change Details of an order
You may change the address details or message on the gift card for an order up until 10am of the day of the order is meant to be delivered. A $5 administration charge may apply if your order has already been processed and new label or gift card needs to be generated. 


Pick Up is available from our Flowers by Fruit store. Orders can be collected from:

Returns Policy  

Flowers by Fruit will be more than happy to replace any arrangement that has not met your quality expectations free of charge on the proviso that we sight the damaged product within 24 hours of delivery. Please be sure to either e-mail a photo of the goods or call us as soon as possible to arrange collection. Please remember do not dispose of the damaged product in order to receive your replacement. Unfortunately Flowers by Fruit will not be able to replace any arrangement if it has been eaten or  disposed of.

Flowers by Fruit will not provide refunds/replacements of goods if;
a) The goods have not been stored or transported correctly as per Flowers by Fruit instruction
b) Changes in the colour, texture, and flavour of the fruit due to seasonality.

Please note that if goods are collected for assessment and have passed the Flowers by Fruit quality control panel, additional charges may apply for the collection of the product.

Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to change or cancel your order, we will need a minimum 24 hours notice and a $10 administration fee applies. Any changes or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will incur a fee of 50% your total order including the delivery fee.
